The following simple technique makes use of the principle; “Energy flows where attention goes.”
Hands On Heart Breathing:
- Simply sit or lay down and hold your hands on your heart centre.
- Just breath in and out gently as you wish.
- You can imagine you are breathing from your heart to increase the good feelings.
- Do this for a few minutes and notice how you are calming down, becoming more relaxed and centred.
*This is a good practice to do at bedtime to help settle your mind.
